Think On These Things

On a day when so many are thinking about things that are scary and evil (Halloween), let the scriptures remind us of what should be occupying our minds. 

Philippians 4:8-9 KJV

8 Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.

9 Those things, which ye have both learned, and received, and heard, and seen in me, do: and the God of peace shall be with you.

One thing that checks all of those boxes is the redeeming life and work of our King, Jesus Christ. Jesus died a death that you deserve to die, for sins that He did not commit, because you cannot save yourself. He shed His perfect, innocent blood so that you can be forgiven of your sins and stand justified before God. 

Could there be better news than that?
