Lesson 1: Learning to Understand the Bible
This lesson will help you discover Authentic Christianity by returning to the teachings of Jesus and the apostles found in Scripture. Lesson 2: The Sin Problem and Its Solution
Sin is disobedience to God and it separates us from Him, bringing pain, death, and eternal punishment. All have sinned, but God, through Jesus, offers salvation. Jesus died in our place. His sacrifice provides forgiveness and hope of eternal life for those who obey Him. We cannot save ourselves—only through faith, repentance, and obedience to Christ can we be saved.

Lesson 3: Tell Me the Story of Jesus
This lesson explores the life, ministry, death, and resurrection of Jesus, affirming Him as Savior, Lord, and God. Jesus fulfilled Old Testament prophecies, taught with authority, performed miracles, and willingly died for humanity's sins. He rose from the dead, proving His divinity, and now reigns in Heaven. Authentic Christianity centers on knowing, trusting, and following Jesus Christ as the Son of God.

Lesson 4: What Must I Do to Be Saved?
Salvation comes only through Jesus, and the Bible outlines the steps to receive it: hear the gospel, believe, repent, confess, and be baptized (Mark 16:16; Acts 2:38). The book of Acts records examples of conversion following this pattern, including the Day of Pentecost, the Ethiopian eunuch, Saul (Paul), and the Philippian jailer. Obedience to Jesus' teachings in the Great Commission is essential for salvation (Hebrews 5:9).

Lesson 5: The Church In The New Testament
Jesus promised to build His Church (Matthew 16:18), which was established in Jerusalem on Pentecost (Acts 2). The Church is not a building but the people of God—His “Great Congregation.” Christ died for the Church, adds the saved to it, and it follows the apostles’ doctrine. The early Church was unified in faith, name, and practice. Denominations divide, but true unity comes from following the New Testament pattern for Christian worship and living.

Lesson 6: The Worship of the Church
The New Testament Church worships God in spirit and truth through five acts: the Lord’s Supper, prayer, singing, giving, and teaching. Worship occurs each first day of the week. The Church’s mission is to proclaim the gospel, edify believers, and provide spiritual community. Each congregation is autonomous, led by qualified elders and deacons. Christ’s church still exists today wherever people obey His word and follow the teaching of the apostles.
