Slow To Speak

It seems like someone is always offended about something. If you scroll past this post, I’m sure you’ll quickly find someone complaining about something, crying about something, or yelling at someone.

A wise man rightly said that we have two ears and one mouth so we can listen twice as much as we speak. What a peaceful world it would be if we all followed this advice. It’s sound advice because it echoes the scriptures. (James 1:19-20)

If we’re going to have a peaceful life that reflects Christ, we need to listen carefully to what people say, then think carefully before we speak.
